Welcome to term 4 in Beech class! Where has the first half of the year gone?!
This term we will have a history focus for our topic to learn about George Muller, who set up the Ashley Down Orphanages and helped over 10,000 orphans in the 1800s.
In English, we will be reading an adapted version of ‘Oliver Twist’ to link our curriculum whilst learning about George Muller. We will write a selection of different text types before writing a newspaper report about a section of the Oliver Twist story.
At the beginning of term, our maths learning will continue to focus on fractions. We will then move on to looking at measuring length and perimeter, including equivalent lengths and comparing lengths.
Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Have a good term!
