Writing Week!

Written by

We are having a very exciting first week back!  On Monday we visited the school pond and used all our senses to explore the environment.  We each wrote a senses poem about the pond.

For the remainder of the week we are creating factfiles for three different creatures that live in a pond.  So far, we have learnt about pond fish and newts.

The Somethingosaur

Written by

We have been reading a book called The Somethingosaur.  The Somethingosaur goes on a journey to find his Mummy.

This week we have been writing our own journey stories.  We had to think of a new character for our story.

"My new characters are a penguin and a polar bear"  Amelia

"I have been writing about a Mummy cat and a baby cat"  Ella

"My story is about a snake and a tiger.  The tiger gets lost and the snake goes to look for him in a creepy cottage"  Pipin

Anti-bullying week

Written by

Last week we were lucky enough to watch a performance by Unique Voice.  We met some 'friendship' trains called Fast Fran, Bright Bria and Strong Stanley.  After the performance we thought of kind things we could say to our friends.
