Open morning and sunshine!Written by Olivia Mortished
We have really enjoyed the sun this week! We decided to take our art lesson outdoors and draw our beautiful school grounds. We sat in the shade and calmly drew our environment.
' I like to draw in the peace and quiet, it's relaxing'
'I'm drawing lots of different trees, evergreen trees and deciduous trees'
We also had our open morning this week! Thank you to all the parents that came! We made some lovely posters to remind ourselves of our rights as children.
Looking forward to next week! Hoping the sun will stay shining!
We have had a very interesting first week! On Tuesday we were sent a very exciting letter and we couldn't believe who it was from!
We decided that we would help Little Red Riding Hood and followed the recipie to make cakes for her Grandma!
We had a great time weighing and mixing all the ingredients and when they were cooked they smelt delicious! We then had to take them to Grandma in the orchard! She was so happy to see us and she shared the cakes with us!
Thank you Grandma!
