We have reached term 6!
And what an exciitng term we have ahead. Year 4 will be taking part in tennis lessons at Colston's school as well as Forest School with lots of fun ativities linked to our new class text Wolf Brother. This will be the basis of our reading and English lessons for the term and is an exciting read related to the Stone Age! Our topic will be moving from Stone Age to the Iron Age and the changes that took place during this time and our Stone Age Day will help to consolidate the learning from last term and introduce some new ideas to the children our topic web can be found here.
In maths, we'll be looking at measurement and time - starting with days, week and months and moving on to telling the time - so make sure children are practising using an analogue and 24 hour clock as much as possible!
The summer fair will be on 22nd June and the summer concert on 9th July so we have lots of lovely summery things to look forward to!
As usual, please let me know if you would like to get invovled with anything we are doing, volunteers are always welcome :)
Thanks for your support and enthusaism this year, I hope this term will be as good as the last few - what a brillaint year it has been!
