Welcome back to Term 5

We have a busy term ahead of us, here is the key information.

Holly Timings: Children should be in class by 8:45am Pick up 3:15pm - We enter and leave class via the front decking. 

This term we will be learning about:  The Ancient Greeks! You can find out more about our topic here.   

Our class text will be: Greek Myths. We will use the myths to help use write our own, before using our subject knowledge to write a newspaper report and persuasive speech.  

Spellings: Weekly spelling lists will come home every Friday and be on Google Classroom. The termly list for all children can be found here.

In maths we will be: Starting our work on decimals before moving onto perimeter and area

Our PE day is: Wednesday and Thursday. Due to chess and cricket both on a Wednesday, your child can wear PE kit into school on a Wednesday. On a Thursday, they will need to bring in their PE kit like usual.

PE kit should be Phase 3 PE top, black/dark grey jogging bottoms, leggings or shorts.
