Really Wild Week

Written by

It was Really Wild Week last week and Tony from the RSPB came to visit us in Willow Class. He told us a story about a hedgehog and then we went outside to search for different colours in nature. Tony knew lots about wildlife and he told us the names of different birds just by listening to their song!

Science Week

Written by

This week is Science Week, and we have been doing experiements using raisins and lemonade. We predicted what we thought would happen to the raisin when we dropped it in the lemonade. We were amazed when the raisin sunk to the bottom of the cup and then floated back up again! It kept going up and down, much to our delight.

Supertato!

Written by

This week the children have really enjoyed reading the book "Supertato" by Sue Hendra. It has inspired all sorts of learning and lots of excitement about the Evil Pea and his next dastardly deed!!

The children made "Wanted" posters and put them up all around school. Luckily, Jo in the office found the Evil Pea and we were able to put him back into the freezer where he belongs.

Let's hope he doesn't escape again...........
