Cheryl Collins

I am a co-opted governor and joined the governing board in October 2023.

I am parent to two children at Glenfrome and am enthusiastic about supporting the school and its dedicated staff who work so hard to keep the school running smoothly. Glenfrome has an important and critical role in the local community and I am committed to supporting the school in its vision to support children to be true global citizens. I am particularly keen to ensure that all children are safeguarded well and can fulfil their potential whatever their abilities, background, special educational needs or disabilities as well as ensuring the school is able to achieve its strategic goal of becoming an Outstanding school.

I have been a HR professional for more than 20+ years with a background in Learning & Development, Project Management and now specialising in Employee Relations for large organisations. I am the link governor for English as an additional Language (EAL) and Pupil Premium (PP).
