Matthew Colley

Matt is a Co-Opted Governor at Glenfrome. He is the proud father of three sons, the oldest of which started in Glenfrome in 2017 and ‘completed the journey’ before moving up to secondary school in 2024. His middle son joined the school in 2020, and his youngest is eagerly looking forward to starting in September 2025.

With over 25 years of experience in Financial Services, Matt runs a mortgage and insurance advice business, Moving Experience, which he established in 2007. He joined the governing body of Glenfrome as a co-opted governor in 2018 and has since served on the Staffing, Premises, and Finance Committee , for which he was Chair for several years,  before moving to the Standards & Achievements Committee in 2023, where he has a special interest in issues around attendance.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys being with family and friends. He is a drummer, a lover of music and theatre, (newly recruited) runner and an enthusiastic traveller. He loves exploring new places as a ‘caravan fan’ and ‘motorsport tourist’.
