Year 1 Timings: Drop off – 8.45. Pick up 3.15pm.

Reading: please read with your child daily at home.

Our PE day is: Tuesday and Thursday. Please make sure you bring your kit! We suggest you bring in a named PE kit at the start of term and keep it on your peg until the end of term in case we have to change P.E days.

- PE
- Please ensure your child has NAMED PE kit in school. They will need: trainers, white socks, black shorts/trousers and a white t-shirt.
  
  Please keep PE kits at school until the end of term though, as it is sometimes necessary to swap PE days.
- Reading
- Children should be reading at home as often as possible and reading records need to be signed each time you read. We regularly check reading records and reward those children who show evidence of reading at home. Please bring book bags to school every day and encourage your child to change their books themselves as needed.
- Counting in multiples
- It is so important that children know their 2, 5 and 10 x tables in Year 1 so please practise these at home with your child whenever possible. It really makes an impact in their learning.
