We value your feedback enormously and are always keen to hear from you, so please come to a parents coffee morning or pop in to see me if you have any thoughts or ideas as we continue to strive to make Glenfrome the best school around!
We do a parent questionairre each year, and are very pleased that the responses to the last one were overwhelmingly positive. Click here to see the results. Thank you so much to the parents who took the time to complete them. We have taken careful note of all comments, both positive and constructive, and are acting upon them straight away. In response to some of your feedback:
You wanted more opportunities to see your child's classroom and work: we have scheduled a parent open morning for term 6 so you can do just that.
You wanted information from curriculum evenings to be made available in case you missed the meeting: we will put this info on the website from now on.
You were concerned about your children getting enough water to drink: drinking fountains have been installed in the playgrounds.
You wanted more ways to contribute: a new suggestion box will be installed outside the office
The parent questionnaire will be sent out again in March 2015. Meanwhile don’t forget you can give your views about the school on the Ofsted parent view website - see the link at the bottom of this site.

‘Wow what a fantastic day. Congratulations to you all for your efforts and especially the children. It was a memorable, exciting, tear jerking performance. We are the Grand Aunty and Uncle of one of your pupils and had a thoroughly wonderful afternoon and experience. The children were a delight and a credit to the school’. ‘My son played in the cricket tournament yesterday at the Phoenix West Indies ground and I went along to spectate. I felt compelled to email you just to say what a credit the children were to your school. They played my sons team in the semi-final and even though it looked like they were going to lose, they played with such a great sporting attitude. There were no heads down; they remained enthusiastic and positive throughout! I've been on a lot of touch lines over the years and this was so refreshing to see. They were really lovely kids that I'm sure your school are very proud of.’ Jan Murphy
